A convenient pancake mix contains flour, sugar, glucose, and other ingredients, perfect for making a variety of cakes at home.

How to Make Hotcakes

1. Add 2 eggs to 270ml (1½ cups) of milk or water and mix well until smooth.

2. In a mixing bowl, add 500g (1 bag) of Otoki Hotcake Mix and the egg mixture. Mix well with a whisk or spatula.

(If you used cold milk or water, the hotcakes may not rise well, so use at room temperature for best results.)

3. Put a slight oil on a preheated frying pan and wipe off any excess. Pour the batter into the pan to form a round shape and cook over low heat for about 1½–3 minutes. When bubbles form on the surface, flip and cook for another 1½–2 minutes.

4. For even tastier hotcakes, serve with Otoki Cake Syrup.
