How to Make Donuts (For 5 Servings)
1. Make the Egg Mixture. Crack 1 egg into 100ml (½ cup) of water and mix well until smooth. (You can use milk instead of water if you prefer)
2. In a mixing bowl, add 500g Otoki Donut Mix (1 bag) and the egg mixture from step 1. Mix all ingredients well for about 2–3 minutes. Knead lightly for about 10 minutes.
3. Sprinkle some flour or donut mix on a flat board, then place the dough from step 2. on it. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0.5–0.7cm.
4. Cut the rolled dough into donut shapes. (Use a cup to cut out circles, then use a bottle cap to cut out the center.)
5. Pour cooking oil into a pot or frying pan and heat to about 160°C. Fry the shaped donuts for 2–3 minutes each.
6. After frying, coat the donuts with sugar or cinnamon sugar (mix sugar and cinnamon powder together for extra flavor).
